JONATHAN EWALDS
I am a 29-year-old Porvoo racing cyclist. I am a professional engineering DI and currently working as an expert in production development at ABB. In addition to cycling, hobbies include outdoor activities and computer games.
From childhood I have done many sports. The main sports were football, skiing, athletics and floorball. Floorball became the number one sport to be practiced for about 10 years. I only became interested in cycling while studying at university. Cycling became a goal when, after graduation, I moved to Porvoo and joined Akille in Porvoo in the spring of 2018.
I started racing on the highway in the summer of 2018 in category 3. In 2019, I moved to category 2, when the competitions also had to be rotated more widely. The highlight of the summer was Willimiesajot in Lappeenranta, where I won cat.2. In the autumn of 2019, I started cooperating with coach Kari Myyryläinen.
The goal is to develop as a racing cyclist and dream of becoming one of Finland's top riders.
My best achievements
Still ahead.
