JESPER LINDAHL

I am a 22-year-old cyclist. In my free time I spend time with friends and in nature, frisbee golf or hiking. My own sports career has also started in nature, I started orienteering at the age of 5 and I was more active at the age of 19.

There has also been competition in running and skiing. I became interested in mountain biking in middle school and after that I tried bike orienteering. I was on the youth national team for the sport for a few years until my interest in cycling began to grow. I got hooked on cycling and I really like it a lot, but other sports are good workouts and nice variation.

My goal is to continue to develop as a cyclist. I have a few years evolved a lot and I believe that the curve is upward. The goal for 2020 is to succeed in international competitions and achieve victory in domestic competitions. My future goal is the Finnish Championship medal from the highway.

I also feel it is important to be the best possible role model for young people, to motivate and inspire young people to move. I want my actions to matter and that my sports career can be the reason why a young person starts doing some exercise.
