RASMUS LAITALA

I am a 22-year-old Porvoo racing cyclist

In competitive sports, my goal is to succeed at the national level in road and mountain biking. Overall, my goal is to create a career as a doctor that would be as much related to sports and cycling as possible. I work as a doctor for the Achilles Green Team.

I am a fourth-year medical student originally from Porvoo. I have been doing sports since the age of 6, the main species was long handball and football. Athletics, orienteering and swimming have also become popular. My passion for sports ended in middle school, but I found a new spark in high school for endurance sports, especially mountain biking at the time. Now, in the last year and a half, road cycling has developed into a major sport. Here I practice skiing, running and lifting weights. I practice as much as possible within the framework of study, work and social life.
