EMIL IJÄS

I am a 15-year-old cyclist from Tuusula. I have applied to study the Swedish-speaking Helsinge Gymnasium sports line. In my free time I like to do different things with my friends eg play golf and play basketball. The cottage will also be spent time where there are also good training opportunities.

My cycling career began at the age of 6 from the Korso echo mountain bike school. I drove my first race in the terrain in Tuusula when I was 7 years old. In addition to mountain biking, I also started competing in road and rail cycling. Of these three sub-species, road cycling became the main sport.

The first was Sweden ulkomaankisani U6 Cycle Tour and the Tour in Borlänge 2015. In recent years I have also competed in Estonia, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. By 2020, I moved to Akille in Porvoo and my coach was Esa Skyttä.

My main sport was hockey for a long time before cycling. I played hockey at IFK Helsinki. I also indulged in wrestling and skiing. Skiing is also now a form of winter training. I've always tried to practice sports mahdolllisimman versatile.

My dream in cycling is to get to ride at the World Championship level and possibly also at the professional level. I also want to study for myself a good profession.
